The RescueMates platform has two main parts: a mobile app and a public website
The app is built for volunteers and shelter staff. It helps them add and update dog profiles, list current needs, and manage tasks efficiently
The website is made for supporters. Here, people can browse adoptable dogs, learn about their stories, choose a dog to support, and make a donation
As soon as a volunteer adds a new profile with current needs in the app, the profile becomes visible on the website. A visitor chooses a dog and a specific need to support, then makes a contribution. The platform receives the donation and credits it to the selected dog’s balance
Supporters can also follow the dog’s journey, receive updates and newsletters, and are encouraged to continue helping on a regular basis. This consistent backing allows volunteers and staff to plan better and focus more on the dogs’ wellbeing
If someone wants to adopt, they can express interest directly through the website. The platform then connects them with the shelter team to discuss the opportunity
