Hundreds of rescue dogs are waiting for attention, support, and a chance to be adopted. Most of them remain invisible outside the shelter walls.

RescueMates is built to change that.It’s a platform that helps volunteers and shelter staff create real, up-to-date profiles for rescue dogs, share their stories, and connect them with people who care - whether they want to adopt, support, or simply follow their journey.

RescueMates combines two parts: a working tool for shelters and a public space for supporters.

On one side, volunteers and shelter staff use a simple app to add and update dog profiles, share urgent needs, and keep information accurate. This makes it easier to manage large numbers of dogs and keep everything visible and current.

On the other side, the website allows people to discover rescue dogs, learn their stories, and take action. Visitors can support a dog, follow updates, and see how their contribution helps over time.

This connection - between those who care and those who can help - is what makes the system work.

Most rescue dogs are not adopted because they are “unwanted”.

They are simply unseen.
